What a [fun] weekend.
Hung around some friends, went to Best Buy, bought a horrible game that I want to return but can't (you cannot return open items such as games)
And a good weekend for Chicago sports (not the Cubs)
Bears win over the lousy assPackers,
Hawks beat the Red Wings in shootout (where the 18 year old Patrick Kane gets the only goal of the shootout).
Two teams I hate, destroyed, humiliated.
Ha.
Did I mention what a Rachel filled weekend I had? It was kind of like a twinkie,
My friends were the sweet outer layer, but I got to the sweet cream filling today.
Rachel, you are cream filling!

Also, a bit about the Chicago Marathon:
You might have heard about the Chicago Marathon, and how after some amount of hours it was called off, due to the fact that the weather was extremely hot, and after several attempts to proved water to the runners, too many people were suffering extremely from the heat. There was even a fatality. Hundreds were taken to local Chicago hospitals.
On the news, an old man complains: "I have been training for this marathon for half a year, and they just canceled it?" Blah blah blah..."
Dear Old Man,
Someone died at this marathon. It's October in Chicago. Usually, it's not 90 degrees outside. It's usually freezing at the Marathon. Today, the marathon workers tried their best to hydrate the runners by even opening up fire hydrants, but after hundreds of people suffered from heat stroke, it was probably the right thing to do to cancel the run, especially because someone died. Now, of course, you're old, so you probably don't really care. But really, who has the audacity to complain about the decision after a man dies? Let's be reasonable, old man. Perhaps next time, it's you who dies, and as thousands trample on your lifeless, limp body, no one cancels the race. I bet that probably wouldn't be right by you, now would it? No. It wouldn't. So please shut up.
